You're invited to have a say on the future of Leicester

What is it really like being a student in Leicester? We want to hear all about living, studying and working in the city, from your perspective.

We’re teaming up with the University of Leicester and Leicester City Council to ask current students and recent graduates their thoughts and opinions on what it’s like to be a resident of the city, to help influence the experiences of future students.

We’re inviting you to join us for a special student event at City Hall in the city centre on Friday 31 May from 12pm to 4pm, where you can share your thoughts and enjoy a free lunch.

It’s important that your voices are heard so that students’ and graduates’ needs are considered in future plans for Leicester. That’s why we want to know your views on everything from job opportunities and nightlife, through to transport, accommodation, and how the city looks.

We’d also love to know whether you plan to stay in Leicester after your studies, and any perceptions you might have about living and working in the city and wider county of Leicestershire.

This is the first time we’ll bring together students and graduates from across Leicester to tell us about the city, and a great opportunity to make a difference, so schedule the date in your diary and join us on Friday 31 May.

If you’d like to attend the event and help shape student and graduate life in Leicester, register your interest now by clicking here.
