Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Scheme

The Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship aims to broaden access to careers in large commercial law firms and other careers in London.

It was created by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer with The Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE, Chancellor of De Montfort University.

The scholarship has been designed to address the disproportionate under-representation of black men from less socially mobile backgrounds.

Successful applicants will receive 15 months of guidance and mentoring, and an interview for a training contract at Freshfields. They will also receive a £3,500 bursary.
