Graduation will always be one of the most special days of a student’s life and at DMU we work especially hard to ensure you have the most fantastic celebration to mark your achievements.

If you're graduating this summer, look out for your invitiation which you should receive between today (Wednesday 3 April) and Wednesday 10 April. Invitations will be sent to all email addresses held on your student record and by postcard to your permanent address. Check the settings on your junk mail to ensure you do not miss your invitation.

Once you have your invitation you can register your attendance and purchase up to two guest tickets for your ceremony online.

If you haven't received an invitation by Wednesday 10 April, please contact the graduation team by emailing academicawards@dmu.ac.uk

You need to register your attendance with the graduations team by 5pm on Monday 20 May. You don’t have to wait until you get your final results before registering, do it as soon as possible, as if you don’t notify us and simply turn up on the day you won’t be able to graduate. Click here for information on how to reply to your invitation.

Graduation Support Fund 2019

We recognise that sometimes students are unable to attend their graduation ceremony because they are unable to meet the cost of tickets for their guests and gown hire.

We are therefore offering students who are facing genuine and unavoidable hardship the opportunity to submit an application to receive two guest tickets and gown hire free. Please note that you do not have to pay for your own ticket to graduate.

For more information on the fund and how to apply, click here.

The deadline to apply is 5pm on Monday 20 May.

If you're applying for the fund, you still need to register your attendance directly with the graduation team by 5pm on Monday 20 May. If you do not register your attendance, your application for the support fund will not be considered. You will then need to register under the late booking policy and will not be eligible for the Graduation Support Fund.
