Skills College of Technology (SCOT)

Skills College of Technology (SCOT) was established in 2003 and is a leading private tertiary education provider in Sri Lanka. SCOT operates over five campuses across Sri Lanka with an annual intake of 2,000 students enrolled on City and Guild Pearson approved diplomas, in a range of engineering disciplines, namely, civil, mechanical, applied-computing, and electrical & electronics.

DMU has been in collaboration with SCOT since December 2019 and offers 5 top-up programmes.

Top-up courses

These courses give the opportunity to obtain a DMU award through a full time one year Top-up programme.

  • BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Level 6), FT: September, January  and July intakes
  • BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering (Level 6), FT: September, January and July intakes
  • BEng (Hons) in Construction Project Management (Level 6), FT; September, January and July intakes
  • BEng (Hons) in Mechatronics Engineering (Level 6), FT; September, January and July intakes
  • BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Construction (Level 6), FT September, January and July intakes
