The School of Applied Sciences asks graduates to tell us what you're doing now

All alumni of the School of Applied Sciences from 2016 - 2020 are invited to complete a graduate career questionnaire. The School of Applied Sciences is interested in finding out what you have gone on to do, in terms of your career and further training, since graduating from De Montfort University (DMU).  The questionnaire should take around 8 minutes to complete and can be accessed here

Edith Murphy Questionnaire 2

The school has provided the following message to alumni:

"Dear alumni,

Greetings from DMU! As a student who graduated between 2016 and 2020 from one of our School of Applied Social Sciences programmes, you are invited to complete a graduate career and pathway questionnaire. We are interested in finding out what you have gone on to do – in terms of career or/and further training.  The questionnaire should take around 8 minutes to complete.

We hope to gain an insight into the value and role of your DMU studies played in your current career-related activities, and how you are using the skills you have developed while at DMU in your current job or your further training. It is important for us to know how we have prepared you for your career path after DMU. In addition, your information will help inform current students of their future career possibilities so that they can be inspired by the possibilities ahead of them. We will also use the information to help us evaluate our courses provision.

Your responses will be treated confidentially. You can remain anonymous too if you like but leaving your name towards the end of the questionnaire will enable us to know not to send a reminder to you if you have already responded.

We are looking forward to your responses! As a DMU student you remain part of the DMU family forever. We continue to provide career development activities and support to all our graduates as part of our flagship programme, DMU for life. We can also provide access to networks and a variety of services to help boost your employability including our new Global Alumni Community Hub.  Opportunities available to you include paid internships, networking events, recruitment fairs, access to online resources, expert 1 to 1 and group guidance sessions.

Should you require careers support or advice, contact careers@dmu.ac.uk and ask for an informal chat with Sang Townsley or Rebecca Barnes in the HLS Careers Team who are more than happy to help! You can also visit the DMU Career Support Website where you can find more information and a link to My Gateway which can be used to access opportunities, events, careers appointments and other resources."

Answer the survey.
