High-achieving students awarded with top prizes at Leicester Business School

High-flying graduates were rewarded for achieving outstanding results on postgraduate courses at Leicester Business School.

Prizes were awarded to students whose determination, ability and commitment to academic study have earned them impressive grades and who also helped fellow students achieve their best. A gallery of winners is available on DMU Leicester's Facebook page.

Professor Cillian Ryan, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, said: “We are proud of the achievements of all our graduates but we wish to celebrate in particular those of you who have contributed in a special way to the faculty through your academic excellence and citizenship.
“We are blessed with wonderful students here at De Montfort and it is always difficult to select winners from the wealth of talent among our graduates.

These prize winners are a recognition of outstanding achievements and success.”

The Sue Owen Memorial Prize for best overall full-time postgraduate student performance, and the MSc International Business and Management Prize, went to Kiranjit Kaur, pictured above.

Programme leader Natalia Vershinia said of Kiranjit: “She is articulate, passionate, knowledgeable and highly dedicated to studies and helping others. She is an excellent ambassador for DMU.”
