You are cordially invited to the CLJS interdisciplinary research conference on 25-26 April, which provides an opportunity to reflect on different interpretations and conceptions of ‘empowerment’ in relation to law and justice. It will also address key issues arising within the context of SDG-16: peace, justice and strong institutions.

About this event

On Monday 25 April the conference will take place on-campus from 14.00-17.30 in the Hugh Aston Building, Lecture Theatre 0.08.  Lunch will be available from 13.00-14.00.  Day one will be a mixture of a keynote presentation, paper presentations and a panel discussion.

Day two of the conference, Tuesday 26 April, will be held online (via MS Teams) from 9.30-13.30 and will include a keynote presentation and parallel streams which highlight current research projects on the law, justice and empowerment theme.

Both days will focus on sharing experiences, learning, and taking part in discussions.

The event is free and all welcome to attend and participate. Please note that you need to sign up to each day separately using the links above.
