In this seminar, the next in our @DMUPPHub Prison and Probation Seminar Series we will hear from Jason Morris, In-House Interventions, Probation Reform Programme- Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service.
Jason will highlight that co-produced psychoeducational digital media clips help to reduce cognitive load of this work (for practitioners and participants) and strengthen therapeutic alliances by creating a shared focus that prompts desistance-focused conversations. He contends that Complementary Digital Media clips can also provide digital building blocks for a more cohesive overarching approach to delivering desistance-focused messaging within and between group and one-to-one work sessions.
This presentation provides an exposition of the views of the presenter in an emerging area of policy and practice. These views are not intended to pre-empt or prohibit any future changes to the way that digital strategies are used within interventions in HMPPS.
Bookings will close 1 hour prior to the start of the event, and registrants will receive a link to join the online event 24hrs before the event, via their provided email address.
