Personal profile

A lecturer in Design Cultures at De Montford University with experience of founding a contemporary women’s knitwear label (2007-2018). My PhD project was a participatory practice-based project: Knitting healthy Aesthetics, exploring fashionable knitwear for people living with disabilities. Lisa’s research practice and teachings focus on sustainability, well-being, health and disability in fashion and textiles. Lisa has presented at conferences such as PLATE and Textiles Intersections and published work in the Craft Research Journal.
