Located in the city centre, less than 30 seconds' walk to the DMU campus, The Glassworks is privately managed by Host.
Each flat consists of four, five or six bedrooms, with each bedroom having en suite facilities.
All flats come with a cooker, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle provided as standard. The lounge and dining area has a breakfast bar and stools, corner sofas and a coffee table along with a notice board and television point.
TVs are provided in the lounges of each flat. There are additional TV’s within the common room and there is also a cinema projection screen in the cinema room. Please be aware the TV license is not provided and flat mates will have to purchase this if they were to watch the TV. There is also a vacuum cleaner, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket in each flat.

There is also an onsite gym available for students to use at no additional cost.
A 100Mb broadband and WiFi connection, provided by Ask4, is included in the price of rent.
The hall features CCTV, a secure door entry system and 24 hour on site security. Bicycle storage and laundry facilities (£3 per wash, £1.50 per dry) are also available to students.

For all students, a UK guarantor is required; they must be either in full-time employment, self-employed or receiving a pension. International students without a British guarantor will be required to pay the rent in full at the time of booking. If you do not have a UK guarantor, Housing Hand can act as a guarantor for both home and international students.
Rent can be paid in one upfront payment, three instalments or monthly via the Housing Hand option.

Additional rent considerations
The instalments may not necessarily fall in line with Student Finance England payments. It is your responsibility to ensure monies for rent are cleared upon the date due.
Payments can be made by debit card or credit card via the Host housing portal.
It is worth noting that credit cards are subject to a 2% surcharge being added at point of sale. Bank Transfers are also an accepted method of payment, however, the due amount must show in cleared funds prior to arrival.
