With four children to ferry around I am mainly a taxi service outside of working hours, but when I have the opportunity, I like to run.
I support academics to find funding opportunities for their research ideas and develop proposals. I offer advice and support from the initial research idea through to submission.
I have worked across all faculties in my time here at DMU, however I am now RDO for HLS. I have a life sciences background with a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and over 10 years as a Postdoctoral researcher in Cell signalling and Cell cycle control.
I helped develop the GCRF stream of funding at DMU and have had success in supporting applications form the MRC, RAEng, BA, and RS amongst others.
