This year, we were awarded a prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Award – known as the ‘Oscars of higher education’ – for Outstanding Support for Students in recognition of an initiative delivered by DMU Works to help students from ethnic minority groups gain job confidence. Additionally, we received an Abintegro Employability Index Award for Innovation, based on analysis of millions of employability activities from thousands of students across over 100 qualifying institutions, and were ranked among the best universities in the country for supporting students to improve their career prospects in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards – voted for by students themselves.
