Description
Sofia Buncy is the co–author of a new report titled “Sisters in Desistance “. The report describes what culturally informed support looks like for Muslim women prisoners coming back into the community.

Lucy Baldwin, Senior Lecturer in Criminology, at DMU, will be speaking about how her research with mothers in and after prison led to the idea for the recently published 'Seen and Heard' 100 poems written by parents and children affected by parental imprisonment',

Maria Symonds, a qualified social worker, now working full time with the charity Children Heard and Seen, will be speaking about the work of the charity. Children Heard and Seen support children, young people and their families who are experiencing parental imprisonment.
