DMU launches No Space for Hate project

Today, we have launched No Space for Hate, part of our commitment to challenge inappropriate behaviours and provide practical support to students who are victims or witnesses of hate or harassment. Please watch our video explaining what this means to us at DMU by clicking below.

We have worked closely with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) to develop the No Space for Hate project to provide a new approach towards dealing with incidents of hate and harassment.

The project will have a dedicated team that students can contact Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (excluding bank holidays and university closure days) who will be on hand to discuss and offer advice around wellbeing, reporting, academic support and much more.

We have created a new webpage to explain more about the No Space for Hate project, how you can find support and also answer some FAQs students may have.

We want to ensure that all students and staff feel safe and supported and know that there is space for you at DMU, but there is No Space for Hate.
