Join a two-minute silence on Remembrance Day

The university will observe a two-minute silence at 11am on Monday 11 November to remember the deaths and sacrifices of those who served in the two world wars and in other conflicts since.

Students are invited to gather in Hawthorn Square at 10.50am alongside staff. You may choose to mark the two minutes elsewhere, and in your own way.

The Trinity Chapel bell will ring 11 times just before the silence, and again at the close of the event.
