Renovation work to the front entrance of Gateway House began on Monday 17 June and is due to be completed by the beginning of October.
The first two weeks will be used to set up the site and relocate the disabled car parking spaces and cycle shelter.
Access to both the building and car parks will be affected during this time.
The existing car park is set be remodelled and landscaped, which means that there’ll be no access to existing disabled parking spaces. New disabled car parking spaces will be available at the rear of Gateway House towards the end of June.
We aim to keep the main entrance doors open for as long as possible, however, access will be closed off at some point in the very near future. Alternative access arrangements and diversion signs will be in place.
Due to the nature of the works, which includes the removal of walls and railings, certain areas will be affected by noise levels. Faculties have been informed and will be making alternative arrangements. We apologise for any inconvenience caused – we will work with the contractor to minimise disruption.
