The SU will be hosting a society showcase on Saturday 6 April. The show will be a fun competition between all the performance societies, to give them the chance to push their skills to a higher level.
With Homecoming on the same weekend, our performance societies will get to show their skills to current students and alumni. All funds raised from the showcase will go towards the SU RAG Charities. The winning team will also take home the Showcase Trophy.
Three individuals will be crowed the best performers by our judges at the end of the night.
The competition will take the following format:
Round one will feature a performance (lasting no longer than four minutes each) from every society. Three judges will score each act out of ten. At the end of round one the points are totalled and the top three point scorers will progress to the second round.
In round two the top three selected by the judges will perform again for the prize. The overall winner will be decided by audience vote, who will be crowned performance showcase champion!
How you can enter:
All performance societies will submit a maximum one-minute long entry video by Wednesday 20 March introducing their performance for the night.

Tickets for the showcase will be on sale from the SU Website from Wednesday 20 March at £3 each or four for £10.
