Leicester City Council's works to Bonners Lane and Grange Lane as part of the Cyclist and Pedestrian Improvement Scheme will now be completed by Friday 5 July 2019 (and not Monday 1 July 2019 as advised earlier) with the new junction from Oxford Street onto Grange Lane and the Bonners Lane exit lane open on 5 July 2019.
Works adjacent to the entrances to the Mill Lane Car Park and the Clephan Car Park will be carried out during the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June 2019 and, therefore, the entrances to these car parks will be closed during that weekend.
If essential access is required to the Mill Lane Car Park, this will need to be arranged in advance (with the Security Office) via the bollards on the access-way off Richmond Street. Pedestrian access to the Clephan Building will be available, if necessary, along the walkway which leads from the Mill Lane Car Park.
Deacon Street will remain as a one-way road until further notice.
