Students are invited to join #DMUworks for a discussion on enhancing your employability through the use of digital technology, which will also help us design a new digital strategy.
With digital technology playing an increasingly central role in our daily lives, the #DMUworks team is committed to ensuring that DMU students have access to a range of online platforms and support to help you develop employability skills and plan your career.
We would like to get your thoughts on what we’re doing well so far, what we aren’t doing well and where we can improve. We’d also like to get your feedback on what would make you engage with digital careers resources and what the barriers are.
We hope these discussions will generate ideas for how we can advance our digital offering as a careers service, based on your needs.
We are looking to bring together a small group of DMU students who are willing to talk openly and honestly about digital technologies – and how they can help you as you plan your future career. The focus group will meet on Wednesday 17 July from 11am to noon.
Feedback provided in this session will be crucial in our planning for a brand new #DMUworks digital strategy. The focus group will be run by Careers Projects and Digital Strategy Manager, Phil Curtis.
