Lunch and a Mindfulness Walk for World Mental Health Day


Having good mental health, just like being in good physical shape is everyone’s business. Emotional health and wellbeing are contributors to mental health and are just as important as maintaining good physical health.

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to raise awareness globally around mental health and wellbeing and help change attitudes around mental health issues. This year’s theme is raising awareness about ‘Young people and mental health in a changing world’. 

Join us for lunch on Wednesday 10 October, 12 - 2pm in the Breathing Space and find out more about #HealthyDMU and the Disability, Wellbeing and Mental Health Inclusion Teams. We’ll be leading a Mindfulness Walk at 12.30pm.

About the Breathing Space

The Breathing Space is a friendly and welcoming space to meet and you can find this at the rear entrance of the Portland Building, off Newarke Close.
