Leicester City Council has begun repair works to the Turret Gateway on Castle View, the road that links The Newarke and Leicester Castle Business School.
After a two-week period when the road was closed, scaffolding has been placed around the gateway structure and a boarded tunnel is now open. This allows safe pedestrian access during the repair works period, which is expected to end around 31 January 2019.
