The event enabled law students to network with a range of voluntary and public sector organisations, firms and employers with a legal advice and mentoring focus.

Students could gain knowledge and awareness of different organisations and sign up to volunteering opportunities to help enhance their CV whilst studying.

There were many different organisations attending including Bray and Bray, who DMU alumna Kelly Ferguson now works for as an associate solicitor.

She said: “These events are important as we can help students to realise that there isn’t only one route into Law.

“We can help students to see the bigger picture, and hear from people working within the industry.”
