Important notification of phishing attack on student email accounts


ITMS has identified a phishing email that has been sent to student accounts and then forwarded on to some staff.

There are few identifying characteristics of the phishing email as the originating address and subject line vary. However, each email contains the same link to open a message. Please see screenshot below:

Please DO NOT click on the link or reply to the message, and delete the email immediately.

ITMS is working to block these emails from being received as well as blocking the links that are contained within them.

If you have already clicked on the link in this email and submitted any personal information, you should change your password immediately and contact the ITMS Service Desk by calling 0116 250 6050.
