As the Christmas break approaches, we’ve got a few tips for staying safe over the holiday.
If you are going away, make sure you take your valuable personal belongings with you and ensure that you have locked up your premises. The last thing you want when you return is having to deal with things that have been stolen from your accommodation.
Don’t make it obvious on social media that you are away.
Enjoy Christmas, be careful of overdoing the alcohol, and certainly don’t drink and drive.
Don’t leave the packaging from expensive items on show outside your home – take it to be recycled if possible or put it safely in the bin.
Before you return, ensure that any expensive gifts that you are bringing back are insured, and avoid leaving them on view in the car.
