For those of you who are on campus around the Christmas and New Year holiday period, most DMU buildings will be closed from Saturday 22 December 2018 to Tuesday 1 January 2019 (inclusive), except for the facilities detailed below:
Library and Learning Services
The Kimberlin Library will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the holiday period on a self-service basis with limited support and a security presence (this excludes the café, which will be closed, however, limited vending facilities are available along with the boiling water tap to make your own hot drinks).
The library will have a staffed support presence until 5.20pm on Friday 21 December. Staffed support presence will begin again from 8.45am on Wednesday 2 January. Access is for card-holding DMU students and staff only – there’s no access for visitors, friends or external members during self-service times.
The Eric Wood Learning Zone and The Greenhouse will close on Friday 14 December and reopen on Monday 7 January. The Law Library will follow the university’s general holiday period. For more information, click here.
