DMU’s new Vijay Patel building brings all our art and design courses together into a beautiful, striking building filled with light. It provides the space and facilities where student and staff ideas can develop and flourish.
Our extensive workshops are designed to support both traditional and contemporary practice. Studios and hub spaces have been created to encourage the collaboration of ideas, so our students can craft and mould their ideas and share their creativity with others.
In this striking and inspiring building our students can enjoy an unrivalled experience – we nurture our students to express themselves and discover through experimentation their true creative potential.

If you can't attend one of our Open Days, we offer campus tours throughout the year. Our current students host the tours and cover all key facilities on campus as well as giving you the chance to ask questions about student life at DMU.
