Digital Forensics Principles and Practice (CPD course)

Overview

This course is designed to provide you with the critical knowledge of tools and techniques used in digital forensics investigation and an understanding of how to preserve the evidential value of any digital artefacts that are relevant to an incident.

In this course, you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the main stages of a digital forensics incident response; as well as best digital forensics practice.
  • Identify and critically evaluate a range of tools, techniques and principles associated with forensic investigation.
  • Gain hands-on experience of investigating the digital artefacts in a realistic case using recognised methods and procedures.
