Academic

DMU is led by the academic imperative to offer the best possible experience to our varied student body, and to support our staff to do this to the best of their ability.  From the point of application, a student is seen as part of the DMU family, and once enrolled their DMU experience encompasses learning within the classroom, across the campus and beyond.  Our programmes are continually reviewed via Module Level Feedback and the NSS so we can assure ourselves our students’ learning is stimulating, challenging, supportive, and informed by a global and professional outlook.

A key component of our transformative academic experience is co-creation, through which we build the capabilities of staff and students. This also underpins our ethos of Universal Design for Learning. At DMU, each member of the student body and each staff member contributes according to their personal and individualised needs, requirements, and talents.
