Competition-winning De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) students have the chance to come face to face with Foxes hero Premier League Champion, Christian Fuchs.
The Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) and Austria Captain met with 100 happy students at a special prize giving ceremony of t-shirts from his fashion brand #NoFuchsGiven.
And the star vows that students will be seeing a lot more of him at DMU, thanks to a special deal with the university.
Students were randomly selected to win the t-shirts after submitting correct answers to three questions posed by Christian in a video, in the weeks leading up to the event.
The event on Tuesday took place ahead of a rehearsal for one of DMU’s Winter Graduation Ceremonies, where Christian joined students on a catwalk, showcasing his clothing range on Wednesday afternoon.
The giveaway was made possible due a unique partnership deal, which DMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dominic Shellard officially signed with Christian and the stars wife Raluca on Tuesday evening.
Christian said: “This competition and the fashion show are just the start of an exciting partnership, between the university and my fashion brand.
“We have a lot more planned for the future and it’s great that there is such brilliant support from the students of DMU who I’ve loved interacting with this last week.
“It’s great to see that Leicester City have taken the hearts of so many DMU students and that I can give something back for their support last season and this.”
The partnership will create a number of opportunities for DMU students, including a design competition for those studying Fashion BA (Hons). The winner of the competition will see their designs launched into the #NoFuchsGiven fashion range.
