High-achieving applicants for De Montfort University Leicester's (DMU) Pharmacy MPharm (Hons) course can benefit from scholarships worth up to £2,000.
The Pharmacy MPharm (Hons) Academic Scholarships are aimed at supporting home and EU students who start their undergraduate degree in September 2018.
Eligible students will receive the cash in their first year, with the amount based on academic achievement.
Head of School Professor Antony D'Emanuele said the initiative is part of the university's ongoing commitment to support its students.
He said: "I am delighted to offer these academic scholarships, which give prospective students the best opportunity of securing a Pharmacy place at DMU.
"The Leicester School of Pharmacy has a reputation dating back more than 100 years."

Pharmacy student's delight at securing perfect pre-registration role
DMU's Pharmacy MPharm (Hons) course is professionally accredited and includes integrated work placements, while facilities include a purpose-built practice suite. Students can also benefit from university-wide initiatives such as #DMUglobal and #DMUlocal, offering opportunities to work and volunteer in the local community and overseas.
Prof D'Emanuele added: "It's no wonder that 100 per cent of our Pharmacy students are in work or further study within six months of graduating, as highlighted in the most recent Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education report (2015/16)."
For 2018 entry, DMU is offering scholarships to high-achieving home and EU students who select Pharmacy at DMU as their firm choice.
