Kick-start the new year with Your DMU Community Week, a feel-good, energising week designed to support your wellbeing, boost your mood, and help you reconnect with the DMU community after the winter break.
January can be tough — so we’re bringing you a full week of uplifting, calming, and creative activities to help you reset, recharge, and thrive.
Activities you won’t want to miss:
- Puppy Dog Therapy – de-stress, unwind, and enjoy some much-needed puppy cuddles.
- Virtual Reality Wellbeing Experience – escape into calming virtual environments designed to relax and ground you.
- Wellness & Relaxation Zone – a cosy space to pause, breathe, and reset.
- Free Treatments – including head, shoulder, and back massages (subject to availability).
Creative & Mindful Workshops:
- Journalling for Wellbeing Workshops – reflect, reset, and focus your mind.
- Tote Bag Embroidery – slow down, get creative, and make something personal.
- Clay Modelling & Creative Play – hands-on, screen-free creativity for relaxation and fun.
Plus, across campus you’ll also find:
- Fitness and movement sessions to get your energy flowing.
- Mindfulness, wellbeing, and lifestyle workshops.
- Drop-in support services and Healthy DMU pop-ups.
- Opportunities to connect with student societies, services, and each other.
