Following the Covid Pandemic, Brexit, the Ukraine war and the Cost of Living Crisis many people across all sectors have found themselves in positions of community leadership they neither applied nor specifically trained for.
This event will explore
- How did people end up in positions of community leadership?
- How have the global events of the past years changed their roles and tasks?
- How does their faith/spirituality influence what they are doing?
- How does being located in Leicester affect their story?
This event is deliberately not a forum for religious leaders or those representing a religion & belief institution, but for community leaders whose faith is part of their identity and motivates them to do what they are doing.
