- facilitation of practical engineering project work in a blended environment
When the first lockdowns associated with the global COVID19 pandemic closed our laboratory spaces to students, we developed a method - the 'lab in a box' - to allow our students to continue key practical, experimental and project work while at home, and continue to meet the learning outcomes associated with them. This session describes our unique approach to the facilitation of this essential experience when conventional laboratory spaces are unavailable and highlights its potential as an innovative approach to the delivery of practical project-led learning beyond the pandemic.
