To celebrate Chinese New Year and experience the fun of writing Chinese characters with Chinese traditional brush and ink, De Montfort University Confucius Institute will host an exciting interactive workshop on learning Chinese calligraphy with our Calligraphy teacher.
In the workshop the calligraphy teacher will introduce some famous Chinese characters related to the Chinese New Year. The teacher will demonstrate how to write the characters one by one by Chinese traditional brush. You will be provided the brush, paper and ink to follow the calligraphy teacher.
Limited spaces will be available and pre-booking is mandatory.
This event is organised in line with government COVID-19 guidance and is open to the public, DMU staff and students. This is free to attend.
