Congress to Campus 2021
A year ago, Joe Biden unseated his controversial predecessor and inherited a range of challenges, from a still-raging pandemic to domestic and foreign crises. Ten months into his presidency, DMU’s Congress to Campus event will offer insight and analysis into how the forty-sixth president is settling into the role at a time of palpable political tension and turmoil.
We are excited to welcome two Former Members of Congress Larry LaRocco (D-ID) and Tim Hutchinson (R-AK) offering perspectives from their respective political parties to discuss topics ranging from the climate crisis to racial justice, vaccine rollout to immigration foreign policy, along with any issues as raised by the audience Q&A session.
Do join us for what promises to be an engaging session on the political hot topics of our time. Your questions will help to shape the content of the evening’s conversation.
Bookings will close 1 hour prior to the start of the event, and registrants will receive a link to join the online event 24hrs before the event, via their provided email address.
Please contact the DMU Events Office on eventsoffice@dmu.ac.uk if you have any questions.
