As the first academic to become a professor through De Montfort University’s new Knowledge Exchange and Professorial Practice pathway, Katie Laird will be sharing her experiences of working with industry, product development and launching a global education brand for children, as well as the importance of knowledge exchange in her research. This session will involve a presentation and then a discussion around research/practice that involves enterprise and knowledge exchange.
