In the eighth webinar of our #BBBYouthWelfare series we will be discussing a topic that can be easily overlooked but actually deserves more attention due to the high impact that lockdown measures have had on family dynamics in this past year. The webinar will focus on the needs and experiences of young mothers and their babies throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. We will particularly look at practical examples of what communities, the local government and private initiatives can do to improve the lives of young mothers and their babies across Leicester in order to #BuildBackBetter and leave No One Behind.

Our ongoing series of #BuildBackBetter webinars focuses on Youth Welfare and will be running until June. Our emphasis is on encouraging discussion amongst participants. The #BBBYouthWelfare webinar series is a partnership between De Montfort University through the Social Care Learning and Development Hub, Leicestershire Cares and the LLR Safeguarding Children Partnerships.
