Arts, Creativity and Cultural Engagement in Early Childhood
An event for arts researchers and practitioners to discuss how we support engagement in art and culture in these difficult times and beyond.
Talent 25 is a unique long-term action research project, stretching over 25 years. The study will follow children from infancy into adulthood to understand more about increasing engagement in arts, creative and cultural activities ( https://talent25.org.uk/)
- Join our Keynote Speaker, Darren Henley, Chief Executive, Arts Council England, who will discuss The Vision and Ambition of Talent 25
- Talent 25 researchers will talk about what the Talent 25 Lockdown Study has found about the impact of family engagement in creativity during lockdown.
- A panel of researchers and arts and cultural practitioners will discuss their experiences of engaging children and young people in arts and cultural activities, and why research is crucial to understanding the nature and impact of cultural engagement.
