Dr Momodou Sallah will lead this interactive session exploring poetic techniques and devices. He will read and discuss his latest poetry spanning struggle, love, "submission to the defective logic of the system", and hope. Participants will be encouraged to share their own poetry.
Dr Momodou Sallah is the Director of the Centre for Academic Innovation at DMU. With a background in Social Work, Youth and Community Work, he is also an award-winning poet, having published two collections: The Dictator and the Heretic and Innocent Questions.
This event is open to DMU staff and students only.
