To celebrate the UN Chinese Language Day, De Montfort University Confucius Institute will host an exciting online interactive workshop on learning Chinese calligraphy with our Calligraphy Master: Mr Shen Wang, from University of Science and Technology Beijing, the partner of De Montfort University Confucius Institute.
In the workshop Mr. Wang will introduce a famous Chinese poem and he will demonstrate how to write the poem character by character (using a pen). After the workshop, if you would like, you can add illustrations to this poem and send it to the mailbox of the DMU Confucius Institute for a competition with prizes.
All attendees in the competition will receive a certificate of participation, but the works will be awarded the first, second and third prizes with nice surprises!
