Roger Lovell is a cycle and local historian who has spent the last 20 years researching the history of cycling in Leicestershire.

His free talk will explore the first 50 pioneering years of cycling in the county, and shall include the social changes which led to women, such as The Green Bicycle Mystery's Bella Wright, enjoying the freedom and independence to cycle around both town & county.
