David Huse OBE
Since graduating from university in 1983, David has operated in numerous senior management positions across the UK, India and Poland. He has enjoyed a distinguished career working as Sales and Marketing Director for major corporations such as Heinz and Procter & Gamble.
David is an expert in the organisation of major events, designing and delivering the volunteering programmes for the 2012 London Olympics and 200th Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Waterloo.
‘Leadership in Volunteering’ is a lecture based around David’s own journey from conception to realisation of his ambitious Olympic and Paralympic volunteer programme. He will discuss the challenges, strategies and successes of his experience and how these might apply more widely to leading volunteer groups.
