Zenas Azuma is an Economics PhD student. He gained an MSc in Business Economics and Business Finance and an MSc in Accounting and Finance at De Montfort University. 

His main research interest is in developmental and sustainable economics. This includes investigating the role of infrastructure in explaining economic growth in developing regions with a particular focus on factor mobility regarding the agglomeration effect of skilled labour and capital. In addition, he has research interest regarding the assessment of the economic impact of COVID-19 on the labour market.

Zenas has gained experience as a research assistant and has worked in projects pertaining to his research interests.
