Emily Hancock is a Design Research Assistant working within the Design Unit at De Montfort University, working on both commercial client projects and design research. Having previously design and project managed for brands such as Revlon, Superdrug, and Boots Emily has a wide knowledge of Point of Sale and Product Design. She has a BA and MA in Product Design from De Montfort University, Leicester winning the Christopherson Collection Award and Petainer Award. Emily has also taught the Visual Communication module to first year Product Design undergraduate students.
A key team member of the Impacting Business by Design Initiative Emily is now helping to deliver a key Research England Programme to develop a new way of businesses being able to access Design Consultancy expertise without the current economic barriers that are in place.
