An Applicant Taster Day is an unmissable opportunity to get hands-on with your chosen course. Tailored for DMU applicants and the course you've applied for, we'll be holding demonstrations, exercises and activities that give you a flavour of what you'll experience when studying here at DMU. Some sessions are subject to availability and have limited spaces, so we recommend booking early.

Artificial Intelligence
Find out why Artificial Intelligence is vitally important for today’s society and what we can currently do with it, as well as what we envision for the future. This will be a discussion-lead taster, providing you with a solid foundation to further inspire you.

Business Information Systems, Computing, Computing for Business, Information and Communication Technology
In this session you will be given the opportunity to explore the basics of visual web development, take part in an ethical dilemma exercise, learn how to dismantle and assemble a computer and understand the basics of the underlying hardware. You'll also get an opportunity to look at student work, including final year projects, and speak to our current and past students.

Computer Games Production BSc and Computer Games Programming BSc is designed for students who wish to pursue a technical career in the creative games and entertainment industry. In this session, our specialist academics will introduce you to the concept of game design and demonstrate how a game can be deployed to the PC platform. If you enjoy playing computer games, this session is perfect for you!
