Disability Support: Leanne Franklin
If you have a disability or medical condition there may be support that you can access whilst studying at De Montfort University.
It is your choice as to whether or not you want to disclose information relating to your disability, however if you choose not to disclose the University will be unable to provide you with the support you may require. This could be anything from providing course handouts in alternative formats to allowing you extra time in exams.
You may also be eligible for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
DSA provides disabled students with equipment (such as computers, software, dictaphones, etc) and non-medical support (such as note-takers, communication support workers etc).
To discuss your academic support requirements then please contact our Faculty Disability Coordinator, Leanne Franklin.
