Here’s what you can look forward to on the day!

From the moment you arrive, we’ll make sure your Applicant Event is packed with exciting experiences and opportunities to connect with your future at DMU.

Welcome Talk – Kick off the day by meeting some of our current students who’ll be with you throughout your visit. You’ll get a warm welcome from your faculty and a handy overview of what’s coming up during the day. 

Subject Session – Dive into a hands-on, interactive session led by our expert academics and technicians. Whether it’s a workshop, mini masterclass, or live demo, you’ll experience what studying in your chosen subject area is really like.

Lunch on Us – Spend some time relaxing on campus and enjoy lunch from one of our onsite outlets. It’s a great chance to chat with current students, meet fellow applicants, and start making connections before your course even begins. 

Your DMU Community  - After lunch, learn more about life at DMU and the supportive, inclusive community you’ll be part of. You’ll hear from our student support services and have the opportunity to ask questions about how we help you succeed. 

Student Q&A Panel  – Put your questions to our current students in this open Q&A session. From studying and work opportunities to everyday life at DMU, this is your chance to find out what you really want to know.

Explore DMU – Round off your day by exploring our campus and facilities. Take a guided tour, check out our first-class learning spaces, or have a look around some of our accommodation options to picture yourself living and studying at DMU.
