DMU Digital Festival Tuesday 28 October 2025, 12.30pm-4pm

The Festival will take place at DMU, on Tuesday 28 October, where we’ll be inviting colleagues from DMU and beyond to share their innovative digital ideas and to learn from them, right here on campus.

As part of this year’s programme, we also want to bring forward a collective conversation about digital inclusion for young people. This will be an opportunity for schools, colleges, and higher education colleagues to reflect on the barriers faced by learners aged 11–19 and to share practical strategies for ensuring that every young person has the access, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in a digital world. We hope this discussion will be the beginning of a stronger, sector-wide dialogue on how we can work together to tackle digital exclusion.

This is also a chance for School Leaders to:

  • Hear from sector experts about the latest national priorities in digital inclusion.
  • Share good practice and challenges with peers from other schools and colleges.
  • Explore how digital innovation links to curriculum design, teaching, safeguarding, and preparing young people for the future world of work.
  • Build connections with DMU colleagues who can support your school’s digital journey and partnerships.

We’ll also be welcoming Elizabeth Anderson, Chief Executive of the Digital Poverty Alliance as our keynote speaker, and we’ll be joined by plenty of other contributors on the day.
