Visit to LyoHub (Purdue University) and Baxter Biopharma Solutions

Geoff Smith from De Montfort University and Yowwares Jeeraruangrattana (from the Government Pharmaceutical Organization) will visit Lyo Hub at Purdue University (West Lafayette) on April 10th.

LyoHub is an industry-led partnership (with a Lyo Group membership from the pharma & food processing sectors, equipment manufacturers, and academic groups) which aims to advance the science and technology of lyophilization/freeze-drying.

This visit provides an opportunity for De Montfort University to showcase our TVIS technology, in seminars to LyoHub members while in return we learn about industrial best practice in pharmaceutical freeze-drying. Our intention is to tailor our TVIS technology to the unmet needs of the sector and thereby contribute to the delivery of process and formulation optimised lyophilization techniques.

Ours hosts at LyoHub (Purdue University) are Prof. Alina Alexeenko (School of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Prof. Elizabeth Topp (College of Pharmacy), and Jennifer Gray (College of Pharmacy).
