The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at De Montfort University (DMU) is home to our wide range of pharmaceutical, healthcare, lab based and social science courses.

Our courses are designed with employability in mind, with many of our programmes accredited or endorsed by professional bodies, so you can be assured of gaining the relevant skills and experience sought after by employers in today’s competitive job market.

Undergraduate healthcare courses

Our courses are accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Health and Care Professions Council, Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, General Pharmaceutical Council and more. By studying one of our undergraduate healthcare courses you can benefit from placement experiences within a range of clinical settings, which in turn is supported by teaching delivered by academics who are experts in their field. From August 2020, all nursing, midwifery, diagnostic radiography, paramedicine and speech and language therapy students will receive at least £5,000 a year with up to £3,000 further funding available.
